Student Section

Since 2003, the student section of 1,750 seats occupies the north side bleachers, sections 120-123 and 222, as shown on the above seating chart. They are also located right behind the South courtside, at the front of sections 113-117.

Courtside Seating

Sections 8, 9, 14, and 16 are where the courtside seats are located. It offers some of the closest and most impressive views at Pauley Pavilion.

Lower Level Seating (100 Level)

The 100 level represents Pauley Pavilion’s prime seating area. It surrounds the court on all sides, forming a continuous bowl. Here are some seating considerations:

• » The north side of the arena places ticketholders behind team benches.

• » The central seats on the south side provide excellent mid-court views. The position is optimal for watching basketball gameplay and player interactions.

• » The lower-level circuit around the arena’s east and west sides provides side court angles near or directly behind the baskets. Many fans prefer this viewing angle for basketball.

• » The coveted courtside seats are available on the west, south, and east sides.

There is a walkway right around the arena that separates the 100 seats from the 200 seats on the next level.

Upper Level Seating (200 Level)

The 200 level at Pauley Pavilion tends to provide more affordable seating options while maintaining good views. Sections mirror the 100-level layout in wrapping around the arena in a continuous bowl, but provide fewer seats per section. Upper-level ticket prices can run significantly lower than comparable lower-level allocations, so check out these seating options for an excellent value proposition if you’re on a limited budget.

However, in this arena, upper-level seats centered on the stage still feel surprisingly close to the performance due to the pavilion’s intimate design.
